Just saw this story, Cleveland is on the canceled list for the VH tour! WTF? Looks like I will be missing out! I was waiting to see what was gonna happen with the dates and I'm glad I did. Now I don't have to wait in line for a refund!

| Sorry if I missed it, but, what was the reason for the tour going from being postponed to cancelled? |

| Why are they touring Japan? Couldn't they just stay in the U.S.? |

| You're guess about all of that is as good as mine people. Some of my friends where I grew up in Virginia are pissed off because they canceled the Hampton VA show too. They sure don't know how to win friends and influence people right at the moment. |

| the thing that pisses me off is they cancelled 31 shows so soon after they were announced. you would think they would have known before hand that they couldn't do it or wait a few more days instead of getting peoples hopes up. It just seems very unprofessional to me |

I guess they would tour Japan because the rest of the world wants to see Van Halen as well, instead of only the US.
Nevertheless, it's a big bummer for the people who bought tickets to see them but can now get a refund. |

Just one more thing to add... It's not that I'm saying that VH canceled these US shows so they can tour Japan.
Too bad VH seems to lack a proper communication with their fans.
Anyway, I'm sure things will be worked out... |

| Maybe they'll reschedule those venues later on. After all, Dave did say they wanted to tour for 2 years. I heard on the radio that Ed has new material for the next album. |

| All I know is the New Orleans show was a little more than half full.. It was a great show and sounded good.. Maby the clue is on the next to last song (aint talkin bout love) Dave almost stopped everything and said "we will not be around here for a while" then they went into "If you want it you gotta plead for it" so if you want to see the cancelled US dates acording to him your gonna have to (plead for it).. They will get their sold shows with younger fans in Japan and get the audience feedback they plead for is my opinion about what is going on. |

If they want me to "plead for it" they're gonna wait a long time! That ain't gonna happen, I got news. I've been a fan for a long time but I'm not gonna beg for a concert that may or may not happen. |

| I'm not blaming it on anybody except the whole VH camp! They aren't doing a very good job of keeping their fans happy with this kinda thing. Bottom line don't put tickets on sale if you aren't gonna deliver the concert.... how hard is that to understand? |
