Post subject: Embedded video's now being allowed in Halen.com...

OK, so I'm going to give this a test to see how it works out. Please report any problems or abuses of embeded video. Looks like they made it so that iframe will work instead of the <embed> tag, so that is more acceptable from a security point of view. While not having the feature all this time has kinda sucked, we are more concerned with the security implications of keeping the site ALIVE rather than risking a hack to the site and to protect our members from such attacks on their personal computers.
What does this mean? When you see something cool on YouTube, you can now post the video and it will show up in the thread instead of having to just paste a link. It's much faster for people to watch the video on-the-fly.
To make it work, when you visit a video on YouTube, just click on the Share button and then on the Embed button. In the block below, you'll see something that looks like the code below. To make it work, just paste it in your message where you want your video to appear and whola!

Embedded video's mean that they continue to live on YouTube, we just embed the player and allow you to watch them without having to click to go to YouTube first. This way, you're still watching it from YouTube, so no, it is not costing us any space at all. |

| I saw this was changed on my post (the imbedded video). Very cool. Hopefully it goes smooth having this feature! |
