I don't mind the ones that have....skip this ad on them....I had one last night...that would not go away...I had to back all the way out of the site to get rid of it....of course then....when I search for the lastest threads...I get nothin....  |

| I understand ads are needed but, man, some of the ads that pop up on the side I have to be careful my two young sons are not peeking over my shoulder (i.e. online dating service type ads with scantily-clad women) |

Well, when we had Google ads, everything was just fine... until people didn't want to participate. Then, it was only the same people visiting ads every day and it made them stand out and so we got banned. Now we have this.
I *can* turn off only the pop-up stuff, but that accounts for 1/4 of our monthly no-revenue ($20 per month is ALL we make for ALL of the combined ads).
We could go for a membership model that had no ads.... any takers? |

OK, so here's the new rule. Anybody who donates at least $19.84 in a calendar year doesn't have to view the ads.
