So i decided to build another frankenstein from scratch. I went to the lumber yard and picked out a nice piece of ash ( not sure if it northern or swamp, maybe someone on here can tell me). Im doing my glue up and i started first by cutting the 84 1/2in x 14in piece in half then down to (2) 20x14in boards. the board total cost me around $50 (kinda expensive.) It should be fun ill update as the process goes on. Thanks guys.

alright so i did alot despite having run into a minor problem an easy fix. As shown in the pictures the space underneath my neck pocket is slightly crooked because my scroll saw was cutiing at some wierd angle! so im gonna glue a piece on now and clamp it then match it in and wood puttying the cracks. ALOT of sanding to do possibly going tommorw to get sanding bit for the horns and sides. tell me what you guys thinks of the routs, i based them off one of the close up pictures i have of the orignal i noticed the one arm above the humbucker has a couple notches in it so i put em there. thanks guys

I watched some of their videos i like the prs shark one. its neat.

Also, i got the piece gluing up since its on an angle theres a slight gap on top that runs maybe like 2mm down (see pic) im gonna fill it with wood putty tommorow after im done shaping it up, ill shape and possibly round the edges of the body with my router, makes both body rests on back and front drill holes for the floyd with my stew mac template. and just to make sure from nut to studs it should be 25" (for the floyd). right? if someone could help me out on this thatd be great. thanks for keeping posted guys!
