Thanks for the props, friend! I wetsanded all the way up to 3000 grit paper (360, 400, 600, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000) and then used Meguiars Swirl Mark Remover to polish it up. It's got quite the shine as I used alot of elbow grease when polishing. It's a patient, pain-staking process, but well worth the effort.
