When asked if they will record ...Ed says "yes".I know it's wait and see.....but to hear a "yes" gives hope. The question is on the second page of the rollingstone article.

| Thanks for the article!! I am happy to hear that new material may come out. It also makes me feel good that Ed says the band is getting along fine. I know there was some speculation about their relationship in Florida, but it was speculation and that is it! Thanks again! |

This is good news!
The sooner VH records, the better...I don't want to wait until I'm 90 to buy a new Van Halen CD! |

You know I was watching a couple of old dvd's last night, the monterey pop festival outakes and the rolling stones circus thing they did back in the late 60's with lots of guest stars and thought what a shame it is we dont have any quality classic van halen dvd's. The best one I have is the US festival but its still lousy quality and Im sure they have the original broadcast footage and sound somewhere. It's sad I can watch all these classic and unknown bands from the 60's but not VH from the 70's or early 80's. These were the guys who helped build MTV yet there classic years are not well documented. I have so many iron maiden concerts, countless deep purple and black sabbath classic footage but no VH!
Along with a new CD, they should try and release some of the better early performances on dvd aswell as the latest tour on dvd. |

The Holy Grail - Van Halen should release the 1981 Oakland/CA concert on DVD. Something from this tour would be cool, too. |
