What kind of lead times are typical with these guys? The website says 4-6 weeks but I'm coming up on 8 weeks on Monday....
Would I have been better off ordering with KNE? |

8 weeks?? Mitch told me this. Due to tax times theres a turn around period of 7- 10 days. My body was ordered on a Friday and didn't ship till the following next Wednesday, so there was my week and 5 days before shipping after that. It came on the following Tuesday. So after it shipped on that Wednesday, it only took 6 days, due to Saturday and Sunday.. I was very frustrated because I like things to come fast, because I am impatient when I order things  So out of roughly almost 3 weeks, I was very satisfied by the body it looked amazing!! Have you ever received a franky body?? Either way I think both will blow your mind over how beautiful they look, if you haven't got one yet.
As for Musikraft vs Kne I thinnk it's all about preference, saying that because the Kne body was my first one hope this helps you!!  |

| Musikraft are around 6 weeks, sometimes faster, but they may be backed up these days. KNE are faster, around 3 weeks for a body. Warmoth are up to 3 months. Divebomb... well that's another thread... |

| Well, hopefully it actual ships today. I can deal with waiting if I'm given the right information. I was told 4-5 weeks is what they are running right now, but we are well beyond that now... My last contact with them last week said it should have shipped Friday or today.. |

| yep, from what I can see it didn't ship again today... It seems like the neck is the hold up, they told me the body was ready over a week ago. Is been very disappointing so far and I don't think I'll order from them again. They just don't even seem to care. |

| oh did you order both at once?? thats probably why its takin so long i agree! There good guys man. It's just i don't get this you can order alot of things they come fast. But when it comes to franky parts, it seems to take forever which is the only thing I hate about doing it |

| yeah, both at once. You're right, I had a terrible time getting a reliced EVH pickup shipped. And the guitar looks great, at least someone is getting to build.... |

Thanx brother! And hey don't sweat it, I'm sure they will be there. At least it won't be like divebomb where its like a year and no parts or money. But yet I order a simp neck plate off ebay, and ebay is quick it said fast shipping but its been two weeks already by Thursday and its expected by the 8 or 9th, which is ridiculus cuz I've ordered things and got them within 3 days. I mean its all worth it in the end, it just kills your patience. I think its due to some parts come from canada and some from here and the whole international swap part you know? I'm gonna start making pickguards after my franky due to only one other good source and a few on ebay but most are same people  but don't sweat it over the build once you get em you will be over welmed with the beauty of them and it will be like christmas |

The last one I bought, they told me 6 - 8 weeks... shipped in 4 weeks.
Body needed grain filler, the birdseye on the neck was "Nuckin' Futs!" |

| Dang scott was this recently? And that's good stonedgrace! I'm not one of the great builders nor do I know a lot but too me kne bodys look amazing that and too divebomb, musikraft idk look weird to me but if I got one my mind would change fast! Haha can't wait to see your neck and body bro! |

| musikraft do great work, and Scott there is incredibly helpful and a truly great builder himself. my last neck came in less than 3 weeks. sorry to hear this one's taken a while but glad your wait is almost over! |
