| I wonder if the picks come with the guitar? I know the B&W ones aren't bringing in as much. |

| I have a question here. Does anybody know how charvel drills the holes to get the wires from the input jack to get to the volume pot on the ones with the cut up pickguards? I can't think of a way to do it and I need to know. The bodies are not rear routed and I'm completely stumped on this. Sorry, need this info for a future project inspired by the art series. I've put up a pic for you guys to see. The blue arrow explains my question. |

They do it the same way whether it's rear or top routed: drill a connecting hole (with a long drill bit) straight from the jack cavity to the control cavity! |

Why can't you figure out?  It's exactly the same whether the control cavity is rear loaded or top loaded:
Attach a long drill bit to your drill, stick it into the jack cavity, drill straight through until you reach the control cavity, feed the wires thorugh the hole, solder them to both the jack and the pot and you're done.
Chances are that the company that you order the body from will do it for you anyway. I know KnE would do it. |

| The red & white from DC & the yellow and black from Rosemont are pretty wild looking. Looked like one in Tulsa show was silver & black |

I would love to have one, but even at the lower prices it just seems too much $$ for me to pay. I'll probably be regretting it in about 20 years.
Oddly enough, I still think the coolest looking Art Series came from the first run when he did the reunion with Sammy. I know Ed was in some pretty rough shape then, but some of those paint schemes were the bee's knees.
The new ones are pretty good too, just not as visually interesting as a whole as the first lot. Some of the red ones in the current, and I guess last run, are really sharp. Great concept. Too bad it is almost over. A real dream come true for the well-healed fans among us. |

| I think I like the ones without the little pickguards... just looks funky with them. I was thinking though... IF I had the cash to get one of these, I'd be torn between trying to spray something over the autograph to protect it from playing (most of them are up by the forearm cut) or put the thing in a case, which would drive me nuts - I'd want to play it!!! Do you guys that have one play it? |
