hello friends
I started to build a frankenstrat.
I'm inspired to the model 1979, standard tremolo bridge,
Telecaster pickup in the middle position, 21 frets
neck with traces of black paint and black Headstock.
I have a few questions and doubts to be expressed.
The neck pocket seem shallow, the neck out too much,
forcing in an exaggerated way to raise the bridge
saddles. Is it normal? From the photos it seems that
Eddie uses in this way. I thought to correct this problem,
digging a little the neck pocket to give the neck the
right position.
What do you think?
- Musikraft Azusa body, routed by myself
- old warmoth neck maple cup 22 frets converted to 21
- standard bridge
- Gibson pickup rewound |

I thought the same thing too...but it's in range for where the pickup will be on mine. My posts are higher than they would normally be on another body.
I have no experience with warmoth's necks.
How deep does the neck pocket and your bridge pickup measure? |
