Post subject: New Server... Is it faster?

Well, for a week now, we've been living on a new server that I bought for us ($2,480). OK, well not BRAND new, it's about 3 yrs old, but the "new" server is better than what we had and has 32 gigs of ram and 8 processors using SAS hard drives. 
Anybody notice any speed changes?  |

I had found things seemed snappier - I just thought I was getting luckier with my 'net stream... but that makes sense.

| I hadn't noticed, because about that same time I had a new computer built for me, powerful one. At the same time I switched from regular hi speed internet to "Turbo" high speed. So everything is faster for me!! But good news indeed! |
