| I just traded my Crate for a Marshall MG100HDFX, can anyone give me some brown sound settings? I've already got a couple settings that I think are close but I'm just looking for a little extra help! I promise this is the last time I'll ask this question abou amp settings, I'm sure I'm getting annoying! Sorry! |

put gain around 2' o clock
bass around 12 or 2
mid around 9
treble all the way, or 3
contour around twelve or where wes had it
a lil bit of reverb and the channel volume all the way up. i get a cool sound outta that. |

to many variables to give you settings. its always best to do it by ear. you'll learn more that way.
pick the tone the want. e.g. opening riff of you really got me. loop that riff, and keep turning you amp knobs until it sounds closer. |

| been tinkering with this amp, these ive found are as close as i can get them to eds. gain: 6.5-7. bass: 5. mid:8 treble:6 contour: 6.5 . then for the FX. i use the delay and set the knob right were the word delay is. then i put the fx level on about 3. reverb:about 4. [ note: i dont know how you go about volume but set the master at 10 and the OD volume at what you perfer it wil sound more like a tube amp . also: make sure the fdd button is pushed in and also OD 2 is pushed in. |
