Don, is this going back to Ed's first wife, cause I think her name was Kelly. She and Val had an aerobics studio/room upstairs(?) supposedly at 5150 and I remember her being mentioned by name in a brief article that I read about it. I also recall Val giving "shout outs" to Al's wife Kelly and their kids years ago during guest appearances, SNL, Letterman, etcetera.

I can't recall the name of his second wife. |

Yep, you're right, Jo. Besides that, "F.U.C.K." was supposed to be a double album, the same with "Van Halen 3". Eddie and Dave, back to 1996, worked out on 15 tunes (or ideas). Eddie and Gary worked for their 2nd album with VH3 line-up and they finished 10 songs. The Classic reunion in 1999/2000 got 03 songs recorded, mixed and mastered with Diamond Dave. The end of it? Who knows? |

Kelly was the second wife. Christina is the third wife. Just fot those who didn't know.

I have one guestion what is with brothers marring weman with the same name. Let me tell you when you are one of those wives it really can cause a lot of problems within the family. You become wife A or wife B or Al's Val and Ed"s Val it's like you don't know who you are. |

I thought it was Stine Schyberg, Malcom Van Halen's mom. Besides, she was the art director for the "Best Of - Volume 1" artwork (Do you remember the lady that appears on the picture, left side sitting on a chair? That's Stine). |

ok first of all, i don't believe that DLR slept with anyone's wife... at least not anyone in the band .but if that were true, then how come alex wasn't too angry to work with him when they put out the best of and made the appearance on MTV? if he was that angry about it that never would have happened.

second, i distinctly remember hearing an interview before the 2004 tour with eddie and alex and i think even sammy addressing the rumors that there was a bunch of music "in the vault" and they said that those rumors are false and furthermore what little unreleased material they do have "you wouldn't want to hear anyway". |
